Guest Information & House Guidelines
Thank you for staying with us! Please help us keep Erie-O enjoyable for everyone by following these simple guidelines:
Arrival & Departure
Check-out is 11:00 AM unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
Please unload items from your vehicle and park on the boulevard during your stay. Vehicles may be brought onto the property when necessary and for packing up at departure.
Visitors are welcome; however, overnight guests not included in the original reservation are subject to a $25 per person, per night charge.
Parking, Boats & Marina Use
Boat trailers may be parked on our property but not on the boulevard.
A waiver must be completed if you are docking a boat in our marina. Docking fees apply.
Housekeeping & Kitchen Courtesy
For your comfort, we recommend giving dishes, cutlery, and cookware a quick rinse before use. Dishes are not routinely rewashed if left clean by previous guests.
Please wash and put away all dishes before departure.
Room towels are not to be used at the beach. Please bring your own beach towels.
If you require fresh towels, please bring your used towels to us for exchange.
Waste, Recycling & Plumbing
Please take your recycling with you whenever possible. If needed, place recyclables in bags and use the designated recycling area.
Beer cans may be left in a clear bag and will be donated to a local resident who collects them for income.
Do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, or any other items down the toilet, even if labelled "flushable."
Please do not pour grease, oil, or food scraps down sinks or drains.
Pets
If travelling with a pet, please place a sheet or blanket on any furniture or bedding your pet may use.
Pets must be on a leash at all times around guests—no exceptions.
Please clean up after your pet on our property and throughout the Village of Erieau.
Please do not feed other guests' pets or Scout.
Safety & Property Care
Smoking, vaping, and cannabis use are strictly prohibited inside all rooms.
Please store all smoking and cannabis products in your personal vehicle.
Additional cleaning fees may apply if odours are detected after departure.
If something is not working properly in your room or you need assistance, please let us know. We are happy to help.
Outdoor Amenities & Recreation
Complimentary kayaks and bicycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A signed waiver is required before use.
Life jackets must be worn when using kayaks.
Please report any damage or maintenance concerns with kayaks or bicycles immediately.
Firewood is supplied for the fire pit.
Please replace the fire pit lid when finished, return chairs to their proper locations, and remove all cans, bottles, and personal belongings at the end of the evening.
Ice is available on the honour system: $3 per bag or 2 bags for $5.
Fishing & Fish Cleaning Station
If using the fish cleaning hut, all fish remains must be disposed of immediately in the bay.
Fish remains must not be left in or around the hut, brought into guest rooms, or placed in recycling bins.
Please do not leave fishing hooks, tackle, or rods unattended where children or pets may access them.
Courtesy to Other Guests & Seasonal Notes
Please be respectful of fellow guests and keep noise to a reasonable level, both inside and outside your room.
During the summer months, midges are common and attracted to light. Please keep windows and exterior doors closed whenever possible, even when screens are installed.
Please avoid squishing insects on walls or ceilings, as they can be difficult to remove.
Thank you for helping us maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming property for all guests.
Enjoy your stay!
